A team of experts from 21 college technology transfer centers and social practices in Quebec is coming together to drive a societal paradigm shift towards a more sustainable energy

The CNETE team consists of dedicated research professionals for your projects. These professionals include researchers, technicians, project managers, and research assistants with backgrounds in various fields, including chemistry and chemical engineering, molecular biology, microbiology, agronomy, industrial bioprocesses, water chemistry and microbiology, agri-food, water treatment, mathematics, physics, mechanical engineering, and more.

As a College Technology Transfer Center (CTTC), Agrinova's mission is to stimulate research and innovation in agriculture by supporting businesses and communities. Agrinova's driving force is a multidisciplinary team of professionals who are passionate about agriculture. Operating in various agricultural sectors related to both animal and plant production, Agrinova has unique infrastructure for vegetable storage and biochar production. Additionally, it offers Technology Access Centers (TAC) for dairy production and biochar research.

Affiliated with Cégep de Sorel-Tracy, the Center for Technology Transfer in Industrial Ecology is dedicated to enhancing the performance of businesses and communities through the research and development of innovative approaches and technologies in industrial ecology.

The Quebec Composites Development Center (CDCQ) provides a wide range of services tailored to the needs of manufacturing companies in the field of composite materials. These services include material research, process development, equipment search, prototyping, molding and qualification testing, and material or product characterization. CDCQ is a College Technology Transfer Center (CCTT) affiliated with Cégep de Saint-Jérôme, and it conducts various research and development activities.

The Center for Chemical Process Studies of Quebec (CÉPROCQ) is one of the College Technology Transfer Centers (CCTT) affiliated with Collège de Maisonneuve. Equipped with pilot-scale research infrastructure in the fields of industrial and environmental technologies, it hosts a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (CRSNG) research chair on agroforestry extractables. Since 1997, CÉPROCQ has been assisting and supporting Quebec companies in the field of chemical processes. Its expertise enables it to offer applied research services, technical assistance, and customized training.

The Center for the Study of Social Responsibility and Eco-Citizenship (CÉRSÉ) is a research center that facilitates the creation of opportunities for responsible innovation in organizations and society through accessible and collaborative processes.

CIRADD is a research center specializing in social innovation for sustainable community development. The center collaborates closely with its partners to develop innovative social tools, initiatives, and practices that contribute to the sustainable development of communities. CIRADD conducts applied research and provides support and guidance to organizations, businesses, and communities. They also offer training and information activities on various topics related to social innovation, sustainable development, and scientific research.

Established in 1985, the Centre for Metallurgy of Quebec is a college technology transfer center integrated with Cégep de Trois-Rivières. Its mission is to support the competitiveness of the metallurgical industry through collaborative research and technological development involving private and public partners. Additionally, it supports technical education at the college level and knowledge transfer to businesses. The center provides unparalleled expertise in metallic materials and metallurgical processes, serving manufacturing companies in Quebec, Canada, and international partnerships.

Coalia's mission is to contribute to the development of innovative materials, products, and processes in collaboration with companies and organizations operating in the fields of mineral technology and plastics. Coalia plays a role in the economic development of Quebec through applied research, technical assistance, training, and information activities. The organization works on the development of technological solutions, their transfer, and implementation within the framework of sustainability and responsibility.

Founded in 1984, the Centre for Automated Production at Cégep de Jonquière is a College Technology Transfer Center (CCTT) recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. It comprises a team of engineers and skilled technicians in the field of automation who have the expertise and required skills to support businesses in implementing new production optimization processes through the development of new technologies, knowledge transfer, and specialized training. This concept is unique in Quebec.

The CTRI (Centre de Transfert en Ressources Technologiques Innovantes) has a mission to support businesses and the socio-economic sector in the mining, forestry, and agricultural fields. The center actively explores, identifies, and proposes innovative solutions to enhance the value of industrial residues and underutilized natural resources by accelerating the adoption of eco-responsible and profitable business practices. Annually, the CTRI provides over 3 million dollars' worth of applied research services dedicated to Quebec-based companies. In addition to its pilot and mini-pilot mineral processing facilities, the CTRI maintains five laboratories corresponding to the center's activities, including 1) biomass, bioenergy, and bioproducts, 2) applied ecology and biorestoration, and 3) contaminated effluents and process waters.

Maritime Innovation (IMAR) is an applied research center affiliated with the Maritime Institute of Quebec (IMQ), a component of the Rimouski College. IMAR is a non-profit organization, governed by a board of directors consisting of representatives from the maritime industry and the research sector. The mission of Maritime Innovation is to contribute to the development of the maritime sector and promote excellence through innovation. Maritime Innovation aims to develop solutions for the benefit of companies through applied research, technical assistance, and information dissemination.

Innofibre plays a role in accelerating the technological advancement of your bioprocesses and bioproducts. They can assist you in mitigating technological risks associated with innovation in your industrial processes and product diversification. By collaborating with them, you gain access to specialized analytical laboratories and unique pilot facilities in North America.

As a College Technology Transfer Center (CCTT), InnovLOG provides technical assistance, applied research, training, and awareness services in the fields of logistics and transportation. InnovLOG operates objectively and independently to deliver the best-suited solution to its clients' needs.

The Institute for Innovative Vehicles is a leading authority in the electrification and automation of transportation. Their goal is to support your innovation process by assisting in the development of new vehicle technologies. As a College Technology Transfer Center (CCTT) affiliated with Cégep de Saint-Jérôme, IVI is also accredited as a research center by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).

The Industrial Maintenance Technology Institute (ITMI) is a technology transfer center affiliated with Cégep de Sept-Îles, specializing in industrial maintenance.

The Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence, JACOBB, has a mission to facilitate the application of artificial intelligence in the Quebec economic landscape. JACOBB aims to accelerate Quebec's economic and social progress through the use of artificial intelligence.

Kemitek's mission is to assist companies in innovating within the fields of renewable chemistry, green chemistry, and process control while actively contributing to the maintenance of a regional center of excellence with international reach.

Nergica is an applied research center that fosters innovation in renewable energy through research, technical assistance, technology transfer, and support to businesses and communities. In practical terms, Nergica is a non-profit organization driven by a team of passionate experts and equipped with unique research facilities in natural environments, unparalleled in Canada. Nergica maintains close collaborations with industry stakeholders, research centers, international organizations, developers, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Optech is a College Technology Transfer Center (CCTT) incorporated as a non-profit organization. Optech has structured its technological expertise around five main areas: optical fibers, lighting and imaging, metrology, microsystems, and artificial intelligence in optics. This cross-cutting structure enables them to engage with various types of companies operating in several innovative sectors, including the medical technology, multimedia, industrial production, and environmental sectors.

The mission of SEREX is to develop sustainable solutions and practices to support innovation and technology transfer in companies related to the forest product transformation sectors. In doing so, it aims to position them in future markets.

The mission of CTT and its SAGEOS Division is to support the growth of companies in the textile, geosynthetics and advanced textile-based materials industries through technical services, R&D and expertise in product innovation and improvement, while promoting sustainable development. The CTT Group is a key driver of innovation at the heart of a constantly evolving industry.
