The energy transition begins at the local level. Across Quebec, communities, businesses, research centers, and organizations are joining forces to develop solutions tailored to their specific circumstances and resources.

The Energy Squad, in partnership with the RQEI — the Quebec Smart Energy Network (RQEI)—with financial support from the Government of Quebec as part of the 2030 Green Economy Plan, invites you to a day of reflection, discussion, and inspiration dedicated to regional energy ecosystems.

Why participate?

Discover promising initiatives that are already transforming our regions, starting with the inspiring example of Lac-Mégantic, a pioneer in the energy transition.

During this event, you will be able to:

  • Discover concrete projects being developed in communities across Quebec;
  • Explore the potential of microgrids, bioenergy, the utilization of wood waste, and industrial synergies;
  • To better understand the challenges and needs of municipalities, ports, industrial parks, and businesses;
  • Network with stakeholders from the research community, local government, regional development, businesses, and organizations that are shaping the energy solutions of tomorrow.

Because the best solutions come from collaboration, this event is a unique opportunity to build connections, share experiences, and help build resilient, innovative energy ecosystems that are grounded in the realities of each region.

Together, let’s bring out the local talent that will shape the Quebec of tomorrow.
