A Powerhouse in Applied Research for the Energy Transition
The Energy Squad is a consortium of college technology transfer centers (CCTTs). Active since 2018, the Energy Squad was created to provide a shared energy service. Indeed, the challenges of the energy transition increasingly require projects to draw on diverse areas of expertise that must be brought together. In this regard, the Energy Squad aims to implement projects of such a scale that a single CCTT could not handle them alone. The Energy Squad currently consists of 19 members
Mission
Facilitate a just energy transition in Quebec by pooling the expertise of our innovation centers to develop and adopt technological and societal solutions to the climate emergency.
Objectives
Accelerate Quebec’s energy transition by bringing together expertise, innovation, and the needs of industry. Through collaboration among applied research centers, businesses, and stakeholders in the ecosystem, we help develop concrete solutions and strengthen Québec’s capacity to build a low-carbon economy.
